Battery Validation and Pre-Compliance Testing
Battery validation can be performed as a single test for early-stage prototypes or as a full UN38.3 testing sequence. Stress assessments are carried out within a unified infrastructure, ensuring reliable and consistent results. We also offer targeted pre-testing to prepare your batteries for all common battery safety standards (IEC 62619, IEC 62133-2 etc.).

T.1 Altitude Simulation
This test simulates air transport under low pressure conditions. The batteries are exposed to a low pressure of 11.6 kPa for at least 6 hours.The batteries are exposed to a low pressure of 11.6 kPa for at least 6 hours.
T.2 Thermal Test
This test assesses battery seal integrity and internal electrical connections. The test is conducted using rapid and extreme temperature changes. The test object undergoes 10 cycles between -40 °C and +72 °C.
T.3 Vibration
The batteries are subjected to sinusoidal vibrations for 9 hours to simulate the mechanical stress during transport.
T.4 Shock
The batteries are subjected to a total of 18 mechanical shock pulses of 150G along three axes to simulate sudden impact loads.
T.5 External Short Circuit
At an ambient temperature of 57 °C, a low impedance external short circuit of less than 0.1 Ohm is induced to verify safety during electrical faults.
T.6 Impact and Crush
The battery is mechanically deformed either by a defined mass impact or hydraulic pressing force to evaluate the reaction to severe physical damage.
T.7 Overcharge
The battery is charged for 24 hours at twice the rated current to evaluate its reaction to a charger malfunction.
T.8 Forced Discharge
A battery is artificially deeply discharged to simulate the behavior during forced polarity reversal within a battery assembly.

They provide full raw telemetry, including voltage curves, current profiles, and multi-point thermal mapping, for comprehensive performance evaluation and verification. High measurement resolution enables the precise capturing of critical cell behaviors, such as separator collapse, internal shorts, vent activation behavior, and battery management system response characteristics.
